Why a review QR code helps
Many happy customers never leave a review because finding the form takes effort. The code opens your business's review form directly, so a customer can write a review in a few taps while they are still in your shop.
Where to place it
At the checkout or reception, on receipts and table cards, in packaging inserts and in follow-up emails. Pair it with a short, honest request such as "Enjoyed your visit? Scan to leave a review." Print it at least 2.5 cm wide and test it with a phone that is signed in to Google.
Keep it within Google's rules
Google's policies do not allow offering incentives for reviews, so do not promise discounts or gifts, and ask all customers rather than only the ones you expect to be positive. The code is static, so it cannot count scans. To see scan numbers, make a dynamic code whose destination is the same review link. Read how to make a Google review QR code for the full steps.
Frequently asked questions
Does the link work on phones without the Google Maps app?
Yes. It opens in the browser and asks the customer to sign in to Google before posting.
Is this static or dynamic?
Static. The review link is stored in the code itself, so it keeps working as long as your Place ID exists.
